Bringing Sensory Support to Your Community
Welcome to The Sensory Shuttle - a warm, inviting space on wheels designed to bring bespoke sensory experiences directly to the local community.
I'm Katie and I'm passionate about collaborating with Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organizations to make inclusive spaces ACTUALLY accessible to those who need them most.
Unite Club's mission is to create inclusive, calming, and engaging environments for all.
Each and every living being on our planet benefits hugely from understanding, connecting with and regulating their sensory and nervous system... The Sensory Shuttle truly is for EVERYONE!
Being Neurodivergent (Autistic/ADHD) I am especially passionate about supporting other neurodivergent individuals, as well as those with mental or physical health challenges. By partnering with VCSE organizations, I aim to reach even more members of the local community.
Why Partner with The Sensory Shuttle?
Expand Your Community Impact:
Collaborating with The Sensory Shuttle means bringing essential sensory support and a safe space to regulate directly to those you serve, making it accessible to disadvantaged or underserved groups.
Support for Neurodivergent and Vulnerable Individuals:
My mobile sensory room offers a safe haven that helps reduce anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and promote well-being, ideal for individuals looking to engage with the community, but struggling with emotional or sensory regulation. The Sensory Shuttle provides a private, safe space to regulate, regardless of event type or location. Opening up a variety of opportunities for vulnerable community members to access group events and community celebrations.
Capacity Building for VCSE Organisations
I provide workshops to support and train your staff and volunteers to understand the importance of inclusive practices, how to support community members with their sensory needs, and the benefits of creating inclusive environments.
Support Available:
Tailored Sensory Sessions: On-site experiences designed to engage participants in a regulating and interactive environment, using lights, sounds, textures, and more.
Staff and Volunteer Training: Workshops that empower your team to understand and support sensory needs, helping your organization create more inclusive services.
Community Outreach Programs: Collaborate with us to host events that engage the community and raise awareness and acceptance of Neurodivergence and disability, including our popular NEUROFEST event, hosted in April.
Sensory Support for Mental Health: Enhance your existing programs with our unique resources, addressing the growing need for mental health support and advice and guidance to support Neurodivergent families in your community.
