Day 4:
Nature and Animals:
Create an animal from papier mache or other materials. Choose your favourite animal or design your own!
This SEND/ND friendly, forest school-inspired session includes the chance to create bird feeders or take part in a nature art forest school project.
We'll also have an animal movie on the big screen, creative free-play (lego/crafts etc) and video game challenges.
Children will have access to a private sensory/regulation area.
The UNITE CLUB Adult Support Session will focus on on communication and interoception (eating, drinking, sleeping etc.).
The session will run as follows:
First hour: creative activity followed by lunch.
Second hour: nature activity.
Third hour: animal movie.
This is a SEND/ND friendly sessions. A free meal will be included.
This event is suitable for children of primary school age.
Parents are welcome to stay but this is not compulsory. This session is designed and delivered by SEND specialist team.
This event is part of Karbon Homes' Holiday Squad. These SEND friendly sessions are run by the teams from The HUB Consett and Unite Club.
